You'll just have to attend the kickoff party to learn more about this mystery speaker and the entire season lineup!

10/26/06: David Carson Event Postponed

I regret to inform you that David Carson will not be coming to Madison this Thursday, October 26th. David is currently in Europe and informed us earlier this morning that the project he is working on will run longer than he could have expected.

-------------------------------------------------
"... i apologize for the late notice, but i was hoping to pull it off.

i hope you can announce it as a postponement... i really hope we can reschedule. again, my apologies for all the hassle this will no doubt cause.

- david carson"
[10/24/2006]
-------------------------------------------------

I want to assure you we did everything we could to work with David to confirm our original date, unfortunately he had to make his project a priority. We will be continually working with David and hope to have the event rescheduled later this season. Check out the Design Madison website for more details as they become available.

I realize there has been a significant amount of interest in seeing David and deeply regret any inconvenience this last minute postponement may have caused. I am happy to personally address your concerns about the event change, your Design Madison membership, or answer any questions you might have.

Keep your chin up DM'ers because the Design Madison Speaker Series will pick back up on November 9th with UpNorth, at the Palace Latin Club and we look forward to seeing you all there.

12/07/06: Holiday Party

1940's Maybe...But It's Definitely Not your Grandparent's Holiday Party.

True, we'll be rockin' out to Bing Crosby and hopin' for a White Christmas...but the DM Holiday Gala is sure to be anything but one of your parents' little holiday get-togethers. No nasty fruit cake to take home and re-gift for one thing. And it'll actually be fun!

Join us at the Angelic Brewery at half-past five, December 7, to gather with other bright, talented designers and enjoy hors' d’oeuvres, cash-bar grog and plenty of merriment. Plus, the chance to win some really cheesy swag. (What could be better to start off the New Year than a spiffy new DM T-shirt?)

Free for all (guest are welcome too), so bring your friends. Cute friends particularly encouraged as we'll have mistletoe.
