The Skinny:
Eric Kass is the founder of Indiana's Funnel: The Fine Commercial Art Practice of Eric Kass, a multi-disciplinary art and design studio in Carmel, Indiana. He has been featured in over 20 national magazines, like Communication Arts, Print, and HOW, over 30 books, like Graphis Logo 6, and over 21 gallery shows, like the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum. Part artist, part designer, part businessman, his work is all lush production and delicious materials. He finds the beauty and charm in each careful decision, and breathes life into his work with an impeccable precision and grace. What's more, he's figured out a way to turn his practice into products with Funnel Paper Goods, which traffics in discerning, modern paper products.
All speaker events are located at The Brink Lounge unless otherwise noted and subject to date change or cancellation without notice. When everything is a go, we start mixing it up at 6:00 p.m. Speakers take the stage at 6:30 p.m. Paid-up dm members attend free. Nonmembers pay $35 per speaker event. Nonmember students pay $10. Social events are attended free of charge to Design Madison members and non-members alike. Cash bar.
